Rabt WhatsApp CRM

Troubleshooting

Adding a Payment Method to Meta

WhatsApp charges you directly for messages sent through the WhatsApp Business API. Those charges are billed by Meta, not by RabtCRM — so you need a card on your Meta Business account before your templates and campaigns will send reliably.

This is separate from your RabtCRM subscription. Your plan with us covers the platform. Meta bills you for WhatsApp conversations. Both need to be in good standing.

Step 1 — Open Your Meta Business Settings

Go to business.facebook.com/settings and sign in with the account that owns your WhatsApp Business Account.

Step 2 — Find Your WhatsApp Account

  1. In the left menu, open Accounts
  2. Choose WhatsApp Accounts
  3. Select the WhatsApp Business Account you want to add the card to
  4. Open Payment Settings

Step 3 — Add a Payment Method

Click Add payment method. In the dialog that opens, set:

FieldNotes
Country / RegionMust match your business location
CurrencyCannot be changed later without creating a new billing account
Time zoneDetermines when your billing cycle rolls over

Double-check these three before continuing — click Next when you're sure.

Step 4 — Choose a Card

Select Debit card or Credit card, then click Next.

Step 5 — Enter the Card Details

Fill in exactly as printed on the card:

  • Name on card
  • Card number
  • Expiry month / year
  • CVV security code

Review everything, then click Save.

Your card is now linked to the Meta Business account and will be charged for WhatsApp conversations.

Troubleshooting

Messages fail with a billing error. Check that the card is still valid and has not expired, and that the account has no outstanding balance in Meta's Billing section.

The currency is wrong. Currency is fixed when the payment method is created. Contact Meta support — it cannot be changed from this screen.

I don't see WhatsApp Accounts. You're signed in with an account that doesn't own the WhatsApp Business Account. Ask whoever created it to grant you admin access in Business Manager.

Next Step

If sends are still failing after billing is sorted, work through the message failure checklist.
